"By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes, Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond, Where me and my true love were ever wont to gae On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond..."

After Loch Katrine, we went to find our 3 loch of the day, Loch Lomond. We have visited this loch before and so didn't want go back to the "touristy" bits again. With this been the largest inland stretch of water in Britain, Loch Lomond is one of the most popular destinations in Scotland. So from where we were on Loch Katrine we googled car parks which took us to Conic hill car park, G63 0JQ but this was full, lucky enough there was a sign that suggested other nearby car park. The next one was at Milarrochy Bay. WHAT A FIND THIS BEAUTY WAS!!
The car park was FREE and there was toilets. Considering how busy the other car park was and what a nice day it had turned out to be, I was surprised it wasn't busier. The views were breathtaking. I could have stayed there forever....

Loch Lomond as got to be one of my favorite places on earth. You can find more about it here.
